Functional analysis of miRNA in cancer

> Research > Areas
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNA molecules involved in the regulation of gene expression through base-pairing with complementary sequences of the 3′-untranslated region (3′-UTR) of target mRNA. They are associated with numerous cancer-relevant biological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, cell death and motility.
Our lab is interested in the functional analysis of miRNAs which is involved in the cancer. Our study will provide further insight into the novel molecular mechanism underlying lung cancer and help to develop a new prognosis marker or therapeutic target for lung cancer.
